Luxury International Destination Wedding in Spain

Our couple and their guests came from all over Europe. Our couple is living in Belgium, but they are often in the area of Altea, because they have a second home.
That’s why they decided to get married in this area as well. Altea is a town in Spain that’s really nice to visit and even get married in. It’s located in between two other popular tourist spots called Benidorm and Calpe, and close to some lovely beaches in Javea. If you get married in Altea, you could have your ceremony next to the ocean, surrounded by pretty white houses with blue dome roofs. The town has a medieval feel, with beaches made of white rocks, old walls, and streets made of cobblestones. It’s really beautiful and has a lot of history and art to explore.

The wedding started at their own home, where they had a nice relaxed time to get ready for their big day. Before the couple went to the venue, they said ‘I do’ in the Altea church. This church is beautiful from the in-and outside. The church is hard to miss because it has two big blue domes with white edges that are typical of the Levante region. You can see it from everywhere in the city. It’s a really pretty building that mixes old and new styles – it’s built on top of an old temple. The style of the church is called neo-baroque.
After the church they headed to the venue to have drinks and food with their guests. Together with some live music during these drinks, the spirit was great and everyone was enjoying. The dinner was under the stars where the party ended late, inside of this beautiful venue.

For an event this big, you definitely need someone to help you. Weddingplanner Yolanda Coello helped with planning this three day event for the couple and did an outstanding job. Don’t hesitate to contact her for your wedding plans.
